Recognising the power of philanthropy
Philanthropic gifts are vital to the University. They create transformative opportunities for gifted students, enhance scholarly research and its impact upon the community, provide essential capital funding and underpin the evolution of this great civic university.
All our donors are thanked for their support and recognised in our annual donor newsletter, Donor News, by having their names included in our Donor Honour Roll. Donor News updates donors on how their gifts impact upon the life and work of academics, students and the wider community.
Donors who are able to make gifts of £1,000 or more will also be recognised by having their name included on our Benefactors´ Board in the 24-hour Information Commons building (pictured).
As one of Sheffield’s donors, you will receive your copy of Donor News in the spring of each year. The University is also pleased to welcome you into one of our Gift Clubs - see the 'Gift Clubs' page for further information.
If you are able to make gifts of £1,000 or more, the University will be delighted to display your name on our Benefactors´ Board in the 24-hour Information Commons building (pictured).
We also welcome and respect gifts made anonymously. Please let us know if you would like your donation to remain anonymous.
