Honorary Lecturer (Teaching)

The title Honorary Lecturer (Teaching) will be considered only for current academic staff employed by the College before 2009. The title Honorary Lecturer (Teaching) is equivalent in standing to University Teacher.

Either postgraduate level with considerable professional level activity or postdoctoral level with considerable teaching experience at HE level.

Procedure

Recommendation from City College Thessaloniki, including a full CV, sent to the Department of Human Resources at the University of Sheffield. Each recommendation should be submitted on a completed Request for Award of Honorary Academic Title form (see downloads).

The title of Honorary Lecturer (Teaching) will be considered and approved by the Director of Learning & Teaching of the faculty by which the award is requested.

The Department of Human Resources issue the letter of confirmation and terms and conditions of conferment (see downloads). The conferment of the Title will only be valid when the letter has been issued. A copy of the letter of confirmation will be sent to the Director of Research & Innovation of the faculty by which the award is requested (or Director of Learning & Teaching, as appropriate) and to City College Thessaloniki.
