Honorary University Tutor

The title Honorary Tutor is equivalent in standing to University Tutor.

Responsibilities will include:

• Development and delivery of teaching modules and sessions
• Student support and assessment
• Relevant administrative responsibilities
• Keeping abreast of professional developments

Procedure

Recommendation from City College Thessaloniki, including a full CV, sent to the Department of Human Resources at the University of Sheffield. Each recommendation should be submitted on a completed Request for Award of Honorary Academic Title form, (see downloads).

The title of Honorary Tutor will be considered and approved by the Faculty Director of Research & Innovation of the faculty by which the award is requested (or Faculty Director of Learning & Teaching, as appropriate).

The Department of Human Resources issue the letter of confirmation and terms and conditions of conferment (see downloads). The conferment of the Title will only be valid when the letter has been issued. A copy of the letter of confirmation will be sent to the Pro-Vice Chancellor and Director of Research & Innovation of the faculty by which the award is requested (or Faculty Director of Learning & Teaching, as appropriate) and to City College Thessaloniki.
