Zenghai Lu received his MSc in optical engineering from Shandong University, China, in 2001 and PhD in engineering photonics from Cranfield University, UK, in 2008. He joined the department of Materials Science and Engineering at Sheffield in June, 2008.
Research interests
- Development of optical coherence tomography (OCT) and polarization-sensitive OCT systems.
- Applications of OCT&PS-OCT to biological tissue.
- Development of ultra-broadband swept-sources for OCT imaging.
