Discover Architecture Targeting Guidelines for Schools and Colleges

Which pupils should be targeting in schools and colleges
Pupils do not need to be studying Maths or Physics to be eligible for this programme.
You may wish to target pupils who show an aptitude in art and design as well as those who are strong in the more traditional academic subjects. You may put forward as many applications as you wish as long as they all meet the criteria detailed below.
To target pupils who fully satisfy the widening participation criteria, you should refer to the targeting guidelines set out by the Higher Education Funding Council (HEFCE) 2007/12 http://www.hefce.ac.uk/pubs/hefce/2007/07_12/.
You should also consider pupils who fall within the following categories even if these pupils would not be in the first generation of their family to enter university
- Looked After Children(LAC)
- Children who have a declared disability
Pupils need to meet certain criteria. Please follow this link.
