Heeley City Farm- Life at No 57 Alexandra Rd

The department works closely with Heeley City Farm on a number of collaborative projects based at the Farm and around Sheffield. All projects are community based and there are wealth of opportunities for schools and the public to explore.

Each year heritage staff at the farm team up with the University to explore what life was life 100 years ago at No 57 Alexandra Road. So far we have discovered a range of evidence which shows what people got up to in their houses and how this relates to a range of Sheffield industries.
