The Sheffield Review is the University of Sheffield’s creative writing magazine and this year was the theme of Obsession & Perception. This event is the launch of Issue 20 with a variety of works in poetry, prose, hybrid, translation and non-fiction published, each dipping into strange states of consciousness, gothic and feverish obsessiveness; this issue represents a selection of texts that dwell on the weird relations between what the senses experience and how the mind processes the world, mixing memory and desire.
