• Commissioning of Sheffield's III-V cleanrooms 1983 (CF2), 1988 (CF3) and commissioning of various epitaxial and non epitaxial machines
• LPE (Liquid Phase Epitaxy), Manual and Automated, 1984, (Dr. Y. Hall)
• Device Fabrication, 1986, (Dr. G. Hill)
• MOVPE (Metal Organic Vapour Phase Epitaxy) III-V semiconductor growth, 1990 to date, MR100, Quantax 235 and MR350 MOVPE reactors (Dr. J.S. Roberts, C.C. Button, Dr V. Roberts)
• All major and routine maintenance on MOVPE Reactors and ancillaries
