My summer holidays have simply flown by and in 2 days I will be returning to England! Not that the semester starts until October 1st but I feel as if there is so much to do!
Upon arriving back I need to sort out my flat, go into Sheffield to pick up a lot of things including food as I now actually have to cook completely for myself! My goal is to not let myself live of instant food all the time, it is just so unhealthy, but we shall see how long that lasts.
I also have a few more resolutions this year and one of them is to work much harder. Last year was an experimental year and in now I have a much better idea of how to keep myself up to date with things. My other goal is to get more involved in things. The University offers a wide range of clubs and societies and in high school I used to love being part of societies and it is time to get re-involved in things.
During Freshers Week there is a day when all the societies and clubs are in the Octagon Centre at the centre of the campus and there will be something to suit everyone. I myself will be there promoting a new society called USELES (University of Sheffield Light Entertainment Society, pun intended) so anyone interesting in acting, song and dance please come by our stall.
