Introduction

We are interested in the impact of AI on learning. This is partly through improved understanding AI applications that could be used by teachers or students. Generative AI is just the latest phase of AI development.

We are also interested in what the curriculum should contain to support our students in their future careers, in workplaces being potentially significantly changed by AI.

Research areas

  • AI uses in education
  • Generative AI
  • AI and employability

Aims of the interest group

We aim to create a supportive community within the institution, with strong connections beyond the university.
