MSc in Information Systems Management
Jointly run with our world-leading information studies department, this programme will give you a good grounding in essential management skills and the core aspects of information systems and computer science.
You’ll acquire core skills in key aspects of management including strategy, human resources, operations and supply chain management as well as gaining a good understanding of project management and how IT and information systems operate and their role in controlling and driving organisations forward.
You can tailor the programme to your interests by choosing two optional modules from a range including e-business and e-commerce, electronic publishing, international business strategy, human computer interaction and user interface design.
Students completing the MSc in Information Systems Management also qualify for the Chartered Management Institute's Advanced Diploma in Management, which means you can work towards the Chartered Manager qualification conferred by the CMI.

This programme is aimed at recent graduates with a good degree in any subject and who wish to develop a good understanding of management principles and practice with a particular focus on contemporary technologies. You will need a good degree in any subject (2:1 or higher) or approved professional qualification combined with a desire to learn about principles and practices of management and the role of contemporary technologies. You do not need prior management experience. IELTS is our preferred test of language. You need an IELTS score of 7, with at least 6 in all the component tests. If you are unable to sit the IELTS, you should take TOEFL. You need iBT 100, with a minimum component score of 23. |
Course Fees for 2013-4 are:
Alumni of the University are entitled to a scholarship of £1000 (reduction in fee charged) if they choose to remain at the University to study for a Masters programme. |
