MSc in Marketing Management Practice
Designed for graduates from any disciplinary background, this programme gives you a comprehensive understanding of the principles of marketing management. A lively blend of case studies and assignments ensures you also quickly get to grips with the practical skills you will need for a successful career in marketing.
Enrolment on the programme will automatically allow you to become an Affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). Completion of the programme gives you a further option of becoming a Chartered Marketer after three years’ work experience and an additional 35 hours of personal development. Membership of CIM involves many marketing events and networking opportunities. This programme has been approved and accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing to meet the qualification criterion for the Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing; please note that senior marketing management experience is also required.
Among the core modules you will study are marketing management, global marketing, branding, sales and distribution, marketing research, contemporary marketing practices and consumer behaviour.

You will need a good degree in any subject (2:1 or higher) or approved professional qualification combined with a desire to learn about marketing management principles and practice. You do not need prior management experience. IELTS is our preferred test of language. You need an IELTS score of 7, with at least 6 in all the component tests. If you are unable to sit the IELTS, you should take TOEFL. You need iBT 100, with a minimum component score of 23. |
Course Fees for 2013/4 are:
Alumni of the University are entitled to a scholarship of £1000 (reduction in fee charged) if they choose to remain at the University to study for a Masters programme. |
