Charlotte Jones
Group CFO, Aviva Group
Charlotte is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in Financial Services. She joined Aviva in September 2022 as Group Chief Financial Officer and currently leads the Global Finance Function, responsible for financial reporting, capital and the financial performance management of Aviva.
Prior to Aviva, Charlotte has held several senior roles including Chief Financial Officer of RSA Insurance plc, Interim Chief Executive Officer of the RSA UK & International Business and CFO of Jupiter Fund Management plc.
Prior to this, Charlotte was Head of Group Finance at Credit Suisse Group and Deputy Group CFO at Deutsche Bank Group.
Charlotte began her career at EY, where she qualified as an accountant and went on to become an audit partner.
Charlotte is an alumnus of the University of Sheffield and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Financial Management and Economics.
I am really excited to be returning to the University of Sheffield and joining the Advisory Board of the Management School. I am looking forward to drawing on my experience to help drive the Management School's strategy, provide advice on the programmes offered, promote the reputation and contribute to the overall life of Sheffield University Management School.
