Discover our research for yourself
Friday 28 September 2012, 6–9pm
Have you ever wondered about the research that goes on at the University of Sheffield? On the evening of Friday 28 September we open our doors to the public.
- Have your heart and lungs tested in our physiology labs
- Find out what your shoes say about you
- Meet the skeletons in the zoological museum
- Explore our archaeological collection of fossil casts
- Ask our panel of astronomers a question
Our top researchers will be talking about and demonstrating their research - everything from the psychology of how children's minds develop to the latest medical breakthroughs and the strange world of black holes.
There will be talks, demonstrations and hands on activities for visitors of all ages. Everyone is welcome and the event is free.
