Biography
I have a BA in Sociology and a PhD in Health Studies from the University of York. I previously coordinated an NHS Research Network for Older People´s Mental Health and came to ScHARR from the Bradford Dementia Group (University of Bradford) in January 2009. I am currently Project Manager for a national study: Enhancing the Effectiveness of Interprofessional Working in intermediate care and community stroke teams.
I have experience in mixed-method realistic evaluation of complex health and social care innovations and policy changes, and am the Lead Evaluator for the CLAHRC-South Yorkshire programme: creating partnerships to integrate research and health-care practice. I also have roles which reflect my interest in ethics and governance for health service research.
I am experienced in the qualitative analysis of audio/visual data and haves been involved in a number of studies using Conversation Analysis methods:
