Current Projects

My PhD research is intended to examine the social and cultural barriers to increasing breastfeeding rates in South Yorkshire, particularly among young mothers. It is an epidemiological evaluation of infant feeding and a detailed qualitative (ethnographic) study of young women and their families in the area.
