Adult Learners' Week 18–24 May

It's never too late to study for a degree. If you're over 21 and interested in rediscovering your potential, come and see us at our events this week. You'll get plenty of practical advice about full-time and part-time study and the support available.

What's happening

Events are happening across the city, and range from beginners' classes to studying for a degree. They're open to everyone and no booking is required.

If the answer is "Yes" and you are aged 21 or over this site will provide the information and support you need to get started and to help you rediscover your potential.

The University of Sheffield continues to welcome applications from mature students. We openly and actively encourage applicants who have completed or are currently taking an Access Course, A Levels or an equivalent level of study, but students' life experiences are also taken into account.

We are very proud of the high number of mature students who have chosen to return to studying one of the wide range of subjects here at the University of Sheffield. We are here to help you at all stages of your journey.
