As part of your rent, you've already paid your 'Communities Contribution' - this funds the fabulous Communities programme, so make sure you get involved in all the the great stuff on offer!



Nominations open soon for the 3 Community Development Committees (CDC).
Each Committee is made up of 15 positions: Chair, Vice-Chair, Inclusion Representative, Treasurer, Activities Representative (x2), Entertainments Representative (x2), Bars Liaison, Sports Representative, Marketing and Publicity Representative (x2), International Students’ Representative, Volunteering and Charity Representative (x2).
Each Committee usually meets for one hour per week to plan and organise upcoming events and projects. Extra time is then given when an event is approaching.
Full training and staff support is provided for students throughout their time on the Committee.
Candidates should try to ensure that they are available for the Residential Training Weekend taking place Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October, for those elected.
