Your Community Development Committee (CDC)

Your Community Development Committee (CDC)

If you live in University accommodation (Endcliffe, Ranmoor or City) then it's vital that you know what, and who, your CDC is! In October 2010, Endcliffe, Ranmoor and City residents voted into office their new CDCs.

Your CDC is a committee of representatives who were elected by YOU in October to organise your your Community’s events, projects and activities. The CDCs are going to be working hard all year to make sure that your ‘Community Contribution’ is put to good use - and that your views are heard to improve the social life in Endcliffe, Ranmoor and City!

To find out what’s going on in your Community, and what the CDC are up to, you can:

  • Look out for your ‘What’s on in my Community’ weekly emails (sent to your shef.ac.uk address every Monday)
  • Join and keep an eye on the facebook group:

Official Ranmoor Village Student Community 2010/11
             Official City Student Community 2010/11
Official Endcliffe Village Student Community 2010/11

  • Check out the fortnightly listings posters in your Block

To find out who your CDC is, then check out their Students' Union section.

Fancy helping your CDC out with upcoming Christmas events and projects? Then email communities@sheffield.ac.uk
